Service: 1778, volunteered while residing in Washington Co, PA
Served for 3 months in Capt William Harrod's Co, Col Cannon's PA Regiment
Assisted in the building a fort on Fishing Creek near the Ohio River and was at Fort Wheeling when it was attacked by indians.
He was engaged by Col Crooks to watch the indians and Tories in 1780 and 1781
Served two months as sergeant under Capt James Archie and Col Morgan.
Proof: Pension Reject 724.
Pension rejected because he did not serve 6 months in an embodied military organization.
