Died: Dec 23, 1823, buried in Carlton Cemetery
Service: Enlisted at age of 17, serving 3 months under Capt James Henderson and Col Brandon
In summer of 1780, he enlisted for 7 months under Capt Keyes, Capt Beverely and Col Lewis
From 1781 until Aug 1782, he served as sergeant under Capt Alexander Gordon and Col Malmady
Later under Capt James Jackson in the celebrated "Georgia Legion".

This cemetery is in Guthrie Township. On the east side of Bedford, take U.S. Hwy 50 east, turn right on Tunnelton Road (Otis Park on left side of Tunnelton Road), go 4.9 miles, cross Guthrie Creek and go past Hoosierest Home Park which is on your left, go 6/10 mile further on Tunnelton Road and turn right and go 1/10 a mile and road dead ends at the cemetery which is on your right.
