
JACOB HACKELMAN
Born: 17 July 1752; Maryland
Died: 16 Jan 1829; Rush Co, Indiana
Buried: In cemetery on the Jacob Hackleman farm, known as the John Applegate farm (1960's).
Name appears on Bronze Tablet in Rush County Courthouse.
Service: Shortly after his marriage he moved to west side of King's Mountain in Lincoln, NC and served in the War from there.
He was wounded in the right arm. He then hired John Gant to serve the remainder of his time.
