John Harbison was originally buried in a family graveyard. His grave was unmarked many years later when the remains of the graveyard were moved to Lanesville Cemetery, and a grave marker was finally dedicated on 23 June 2007.

On payroll of Lincoln Co, Kentucky Militia, 1782, under Capt Sam Scott, for actual service on the frontier of said country by order of Col Benj Logan.

A gravestone was placed in New Salisbury Protestant Cemetery. The dedication was 23 June 2007.
From Evansville and points West of Corydon:
Take I-64 east toward Louisville, take exit #113 (Lanesville), turn
right (south) at the bottom of the exit ramp, proceed approx. 2 miles
south until you intersect Hwy 62, turn left (east) onto Hwy 62 (Main
Street), and proceed approx. 1¼ miles, Lanesville Protestant Cemetery
is on the left (north) side of Hwy 62.
From Bedford:
Go South on Hwy 37 to Paoli, turn southeast on Hwy 150 to Palmya, turn
right at Greene St. NE/IN-135, follow IN-135, turn left at IN-64 &
follow for 2.3 miles, turn right at IN-335, turn left at Crandall
Lanesville Rd NE/Walnut St, and continue to follow Crandall Lanesville
Rd NE for 1/7 miles.
