Service: Volunteered as a Minute Man.
In 1776, enlisted again under Capt Thomas COLLIER.
In 1778, enlisted for 3 years in Virginia Artillery Co., under Capt Edward MOODY
In 1781, drafted under Capt King and marched to Camden, thence to Ninety-Six, under Col CRUGER, thence to Salsburg, NC and discharged.
