Service: In 1777, he enlisted in Guilford Co., NC under Capt Anthony SHARP and Col CLARKE, in NC for 3 years. Served and enlisted again in same company then commanded by Capt TATUM.
Was taken prisoner at Charlestown, SC but escaped.
