Service: Enlisted early in 1776 as private in Capt Thomas Patterson's company,
Colonel Elias Dayton's 3rd New Jersey Regiment

Volunteered in spring of 1777, served 4 months as private in Capts Nathaniel Horton's and Sharp's Company.
In fall of 1777 served 2 months as private in Capt Stephen Brown's New Jersey CO
In 1783, 3 months in Capt Peter Dickerson's Company
